League leaders Liverpool secured an important 2-1 win over a determined Chelsea side at Anfield, on Sunday.
Below are the players who should be benched;
Cole Palmer:
The Blues needed Palmer to deliver as usual, but he fell short of expectations. Palmer struggled to make a huge impact throughout the match. The England international's closest moment came late on when he narrowly missed a chance to equalise, firing just over the crossbar.
Robert Sanchez:
Although Filip Jorgensen picked up an injury during the international break, Chelsea FC should be looking to bench Robert Sanchez in their next premier league game.
The Chelsea goalkeeper had some shaky moments during the match. For Liverpool's second goal, Sanchez didn’t come off his line quickly enough. The Spaniard's lack of confidence at key moments cost the West Londoners dearly.
Levi Colwill:
Colwill’s early mistake proved costly as he conceded a penalty with a rash challenge on Curtis Jones. While the young defender gradually improved as the game progressed, his mistake in the first half set the tone for a difficult evening for Chelsea's defence.
Jadon Sancho:
Sancho looked lively in attack and was involved in a controversial moment when he appeared to be brought down by Trent Alexander-Arnold in the box, with no penalty awarded.
However, he was unable to produce enough decisive moments and was substituted at halftime.
